VERUNA H20 Explainer Video

I will now briefly show you the process of creating this piece…

The Brief

(Take a breath)

Veruna is a non-profit organization that was founded on the belief that every human being deserves clean water. They use technology to address the world’s clean water crisis and they won’t stop until this crisis has been resolved. Veruna’s logo is set in Omnes Regular. The logo and the mark are usually together, but they can disconnect if necessary for animation. All display copy should be set in Omnes Regular, which is available on TypeKit with your Adobe Creative Cloud subscription. The URL, verunaH2O.org, can be set in Omnes Regular and placed wherever it looks good. The primary color is blue, but there are some secondary colors that are more eye-catching.

Veruna is currently working on a two-part system called the Veruna Water System. This system uses new desalination technology in conjunction with existing purification techniques to convert non-potable water into clean drinking water. Veruna develops, builds, deploys, and maintains these systems in countries all over the world, primarily in Africa. They have also deployed systems in Michigan during its water crisis. The biggest challenge Veruna faces is funding, as they rely on donations and sponsors to cover the costs. Veruna’s staff and volunteers have installed over 300 water systems worldwide, and they hope to double that number in the next 2 years.

Step 1. Research ?

(What's the case ?)

The ethos of the brand is a process in which salted/dirty water is transformed into potable water, it is a simple and cheap idea. Everything is based on filtering out impurities and transforming them into clean water.”

Step 2. Concepts

(Find the way !)

What, how, where, from? Ideas, plans, raw ideas. I most often use a pencil and paper for this.

Step 3. Design

(What do you like ?!)

If I have already established with the client how the story is to proceed and its concept, at this stage I present ideas for the design of the picture where the client chooses what everything should look like.

Moodboards

Design Boards

During this process, I am already preparing the final scenes, which will look like this. I am looking for visual solutions to present key moments in a simple and clear way while maintaining consistency.

Step 4. Audio

(Make some noise !)

This project required professional sound design, audio mixing, and a narrator. Most of these are ready-made licensed materials. However, I also made a few sound effects myself.

Step 5. Execution

(What have you done !?)

If we have everything ready, then the magic finally begins !

The End

This is a simplified view of how this project was created. The work on it took several weeks. Of course, every idea is different! Depending on the vision and needs, it can be longer or shorter, cost more or relatively less. That’s why it’s always good to discuss and plan everything in detail! 🙂
